Time:  Noon – 1:30 pm (depending on the length of the webinar)

This Month’s Topic:

We will view a short webinar on discounts and discuss recent academic attacks on the use of discounts in valuations.

Looking Ahead:

A Board Meeting will be scheduled for early summer.  The first order of business will be to address our chapter’s status.  If the IBA fully dissolves, but we continue to operate as an independent group of business valuation professionals, we have to re-structure ourselves.  If the Board and members elect to continue, the Board will propose a slate of candidates, review and approve meeting dates for the coming year, suggest topics/speakers for the monthly meetings, and determine how and if we will run the annual BV conference.

Conference Accounting:

The last of the bills are in and Mike Meagher will present the final accounting at the May meeting.  All in all, it was a very good decision to use Constant Contact for conference marketing and tracking.    Time and money at the front end were significantly reduced and we can re-activate our account next year.
