This Month’s Meeting Information:            22^ND ANNUAL BUSINESS VALUATION CONFERENCE

January’s Highlights:

Tom Helling shared his thoughts on developing and presenting a well-written report.  “Winning the Report Writing Derby?” provided us with any number of excellent suggestions, useful strategies, and personal examples.  Tom not only guided us through the process of developing a solid report, he purchased and distributed one of his favorite books, How to Write, by Herbert and Jill Meyer.  Congratulations to the Derby Winners – payoff was impressive.  Thanks, Tom, for a lively, informative, and interactive presentation!

February Conference:

Thanks to all who participated in the 22^nd Annual Business Valuation Conference.  We enjoyed a day of well-prepared speakers, attendees who weren’t afraid to ask questions, and excellent net-working opportunities.  A special thank you to Joe Kenyon,Ginger Knutsen, Jennifer Schiefert of Schechter Dokken Kanter,  and Bill Forsberg of Leonard Street & Deinard.  They took over for Rick Gray who had to provide expert testimony and, therefore, unable to present the FLP and Court Case sessions.
