Place:                        To be determined.  We have an opportunity to host this quarterly meeting either at Boulay’s training facility in Eden Prairie or at our usual location at SDK in Downtown Minneapolis.  Please send an RSVP to MABVP.natalie@gmail.com and include your preferred location.

 

Time:                        Noon – 1:00 PM

 

Agenda:                   Michael Crabtree of Boulay will present the provisions of the new tax bill and enjoin discussion on how the changes in tax law will impact valuation.  The presentation will focus on corporate tax law, while including highlights of the changes to individual, estate, and gift tax law.

Notes from the December 21st Meeting:

• Jeffrey Wright of Corporate Finance Associates facilitated our Annual Valuation Contest, presenting details from two business sales for meeting participants to submit their guess as to the sale price of each business. Congrats to the following participants who won!

• This year we also tacked on an ugly sweater contest. Congratulations to John Heidebrecht, our reigning Ugly Sweater Champ!  Enjoy the group photo displaying all the ugly sweaters!

• Please remember there will be no chapter meeting in the month of January. We look forward to seeing you in February during the first of our quarterly meetings with a new and improved format!
