Notes from the August 24th Board of Directors Meeting:

  • The board approved a slate of candidates for the September elections, discussed membership, monthly meetings, and the annual Business Valuation Conference, and confirmed a tentative schedule of quarterly meetings for the 2018-2019 year. Guy Sanschagrin will be facilitating discussion at our September meeting regarding general business from the annual board meeting and gathering member input regarding quarterly meetings, speakers and topics, the annual conference, and more.  Please plan to participate in this important discussion and planning meeting!  We value your opinion.
  • In addition to our usual annual business, the board is pleased to bring a special item of business to our membership. The board of directors unanimously voted to nominate Mr. Tom Helling for an honorary lifetime membership with our organization.  Helling was instrumental in the founding of our organization, his firm started the annual business valuation conference, he served as our second president, and has been an outstanding member of our organization for many years.  We will be bringing the board’s nomination to a member vote at the September meeting.  Please plan to attend for this special opportunity!
