Agenda:                               Business meeting followed a presentation of highlights from the 2015 AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Conference on November 8-10. Presenters are Cassandra Elgersma and Jennifer Schiefert.

General Business from October 15 meeting:

• Secretary/Treasurer Mike Meagher reported that MABVP has just over $21,300 in the bank.
• Honorary Life Member Dick Thorsen was presented a plaque recognizing his Life Membership and his contributions to the organization.
• The group discussed the new member drive and the introductory letter and spreadsheet of potential members that was sent to the entire MABVP membership by Jennifer Schiefert. All of these potential new members will be contacted. If a member has a connection to anyone on this list, please notify Cathy Hickman to note that in the master spreadsheet for purposes of follow up efforts.
• The upcoming meeting schedule was reviewed. Topics are still needed for the January and February meetings. Members with topic ideas or who would like to present should contact Jennifer Schiefert or Cathy Hickman.
• There are two possible dates and St. Thomas locations for the 2016 BV Conference: (1) Tuesday, April 26 in the Thornton Auditorium, where the program has been conducted in prior years or (2) Friday, April 29, in the Schulze Auditorium, an executive conference location. The group was supportive of trying a Friday date for the BV conference in the nicer executive space.

Meeting presentation notes:

Guy Sanschagrin and Nancy Voth from WTP Advisors presented an interesting session on transfer pricing and business valuation. The presentation included case studies of unique international valuations.
