Agenda: Short Business meeting by Valuation Contest
Annual Valuation Contest – Dan Mulvaney and Jim Borthwick, M&A Advisors with Sunbelt Business Advisors, will present two recent sales of interest. This is a joint meeting with the ASA.
General Business from Nov. 19 meeting:
- Secretary/Treasurer Mike Meagher reported that MABVP has just over $20,300 in the bank.
- MABVP members should have received their annual dues invoices. If you did not receive an invoice, please contact Cathy Hickman.
- The upcoming meeting schedule was reviewed. A topic/speaker is still needed for the January meeting. In February, Michael Gregory will be discussing the IRS Job Aid. Members with topic ideas or who would like to present should contact Jennifer Schiefert or Cathy Hickman.
- The 2016 BV Conference will be conducted Friday, April 29 in the Schulze Auditorium, an executive conference space at the University of St. Thomas’s Minneapolis campus.

Cassandra Elgersma and Jennifer Schiefert presented key points from the 2015 AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Conference on November 8-10. The presentation prompted lots of discussion from members.
