Jennifer Schiefert reported the membership drive is coming to an end; most of our members have submitted their dues; and we have several new and/or returning members.

We are in good shape regarding speakers and topics for BV-24, though there are still a few loose ends.

Our next meeting will start promptly at noon as the BVR webinar Mike is moderating takes a full 90 minutes.

Thank you: to Mike Gregory for his thoughts regarding what the IRS focuses on when reviewing a business valuation appraisal. He spent some time educating us on how the IRS functions, what happens at each step of the audit, and who is in control of the outcome. Mike also described some practical ways to prepare for audit and noted which of his recent publications might be of use to us.
