Time: Noon – 1:30 PM
Agenda: Joe Kenyon and Ginger Knutsen from Schechter Dokken Kanter (SDK) will be following up on last year’s outstanding presentation on forensic accounting. The presentation will include, among other things, a general discussion of fraud schemes, the factors that cause fraudulent behavior, the red flags of fraud, and a few example fraud investigations.
Notes from the February 20th Meeting:
- Josh Johnson presented “Estates of Jones and S Corporation Tax Affecting”, a brief overview of the Estate of Jones v. Commissioner case with a comparison and contrast with previous historical tax affecting cases. Thanks, Josh, for the tremendous presentation!
- We will again be working with the local chapter of the ASA to plan a joint Summer Social. Last year’s event at TopGolf was a great success! We’d love to have your input on this year’s plans. Be looking for a brief survey to come to your email address soon.
