Agenda:                               Bud Sandberg of Wals & Associates, Ltd. will deliver the meeting presentation, “Avoiding the Pitfalls – Guess Work When Doing a Machinery/Equipment Valuation.”  The session looks at the approaches to valuation, the methods of valuation, plus what one should do or not do when evaluating equipment.

Notes from the December 15 MABVP-ASA Valuation Contest:

• Thank you to Jeffrey Wright of Corporate Finance Associates for presenting details from two business sales! Gift cards were awarded to attendees who submitted guesses closest to the actual sale price.  Congratulations to our winners!

• A date for the 2017 Business Valuation Conference was chosen and the event will be Friday, May 5, 2017 at the University of St. Thomas Minneapolis campus.
