General Business:

• The board met on August 27 and approved a partial slate of candidates for the upcoming year.

We are looking for two more board members, including an individual to serve as Vice President and candidates for the Treasurer position. Contact Mike Meagher or Cathy Hickman if interested.

• Several more individuals are needed to serve on the committee to plan topics and speakers for the February 4 annual conference. If you don’t have time to serve, but have ideas for session topics and/or presenters, send us your suggestions. Contact Mike or Cathy regarding helping with conference planning.
• If you attended the NACVA annual conference in June 2014 in Las Vegas, we would appreciate getting an update on conference sessions at the Sept. 18 meeting. Let Mike or Cathy know if you are available to provide an update on this event.
• No presentations are scheduled for monthly meetings in October, November and January. If you have a meeting topic and presenter, please inform Mike or Cathy.
• Schechter Dokken Kanter has graciously agreed to continue hosting the monthly meetings during the upcoming year.
