About Michael Bredahl

Michael is a Managing Director in WTP Advisors transfer pricing and valuation practice. He has more than 30 years of industry and professional services experience concerning transfer pricing, valuation, corporate development and new business opportunities, and process design. His expertise includes business enterprise and intangible asset valuation for tax and transactions purposes, trade flow analysis, cost sharing, royalty rate determination, incremental profit analysis, and OECD/U.S. documentation.

Michael has specialized expertise in valuation and transfer pricing concerning intangible assets. His experience includes the creation, design, and implementation of structures and related processes for intangible assets creation, use, ownership and transfer pricing compliance for multinational enterprises. He has also managed and operated these structures including due diligence and integration of intangible assets acquired in M&A and JVs, financial and functional analyses, operational and compliance documentation, and audit defenses in various jurisdictions (e.g., Germany, Belgium, China and Viet Nam).

Prior to WTP, Michael was a developer and the leader of Cargill’s global intellectual property ownership and transfer pricing compliance structure as well as the corporate function that operated and managed it. He was also the leader of Cargill’s corporate function providing business development strategy and transactions expertise to their operating businesses across the world. Earlier in his career he held leadership roles in the finance consulting practices of Deloitte and PwC providing business development, M&A, JV, licensing, partnering, transfer pricing, and valuation consulting. He was a national resource and leader of intellectual property holding company services to large multinational clients across a broad variety of industries.
